Our student team achieved great achievements in the finals of the 4th National Chemistry Experiment Innovation and Design Competition for College Students, "Weirui Cup"

On August 20-22, the finals of the 4th National Chemistry Experiment Innovation and Design Competition for College Students, "Weirui Cup", was successfully held in Zhejiang University, under the sponsorship of the Chinese Chemical Society and National Demonstration Center for Experimental Education. 90 competition teams from 90 universities across the country advanced to the national finals The finals are divided into two parts: work review and on-site defense. After fierce competition, Our school of Chemistry and Chemical engineering teamwon the first prize of the National finals. In addition, our school another three teams won the first prizes of preliminary competition of Central China region, and our school won the excellent organization award.

The National Chemistry Experiment Innovation and Design Competition for College Students belongs to the national Class-A competition. The competition provides a presentation and communication platform of college students' experimental innovation ability, aiming to promote experimental teaching reform in Chinese colleges and universities, to improve the overall level of college students' basic theory and basic skills of chemistry, to strengthen college students' ability to discover, analyze, and solve problems, and to cultivate college students' innovative consciousness, innovative spirit and innovative ability.

Previously, on July 20-22, preliminary competition of the 4th National Chemistry Experiment Innovation and Design Competition for College Students, Central China Competition, "Obel-Muro Cup", was held in our school. Three teams from our school all won the first prize in the competition.
